Nudists above Germany
Former East Germans are nostalgic for the old days under communism, when they naturist holidays were all the rage. A travel company is tapping into this market by offering nude flights from Erfurt in south east Germany to Usedom, an island in the Baltic sea.
But while passengers can strip off as soon as they are airborne, cabin crew will keep their clothes on “for safety reasons”. Passengers will also have to dress for disembarkation.
